We have several Post functions throughout the year, including steak bakes at our Veteran's Memorial Field on Rt 3, and dinners at the Post on Scenic Ave.

With the co-operation of the American Legion we provide flags and grave markers for departed comrades.

We also sponsor the Memorial Day Parade. For the 4th of July, we assist the VFW County Council with the building of two floats for the parade in Oswego.

We also provide scholarships for graduating seniors, support the Voice of Democracy program, and Marine Junior ROTC cadets at Mexico Academy & Central School. The Post actively raises money for various charities and organizations, including the Red Cross, VA Hospital, USO, St. Judes Children’s Hospital, VFW National Home, and Operation Reindeer, just to name a few.
